Community Impact

We Strive To Make Business a Force For Good.

Through our nonprofit board leadership program, employee charitable match, and team service events, we are committed to leveraging our people, skills, and capital to make an outsized impact in our community.

Board Leadership Program

Our Mission

We develop our executives to be high-impact service leaders, and we connect them to board opportunities at high-impact community organizations where they can make a difference.

How We Do It

We place our executives on the boards of nonprofits that inspire their passions and shape our communities. Through our customized training program, we coach our team on leading with influence and build the skills necessary to operate as highly effective board members. We invite key nonprofit executives to join our trainings on operational excellence and capacity building.

The Outcome

The nonprofits with which we engage operate at measurably higher impact and scale because of our influence.

Trey Chandler

Chief Financial Officer, Home Solutions

Organization Mission

Through direct support and advocacy, we assist families with children as they transition from homelessness to sustainable housing and stable homes.

why i serve

Having lived in multiple locations with high rates of homelessness/food insecurity (e.g. New Haven and Boston), I believe that homelessness and housing affordability are fundamentally solvable problems, but ones that require specific attention in a growing and increasingly unaffordable city.

Justin Maxwell

VP of Monetization, Home Solutions

Organization Mission

To honor those who served by providing housing solutions and employment opportunities to qualified Veterans.

why i serve

My brother is a medically discharged member of the US Army, where he served two tours in Afghanistan. He followed our grandfather’s path into the military in pursuit of protecting our nation. I believe that it is incumbent on all citizens to support our veterans in reincorporating themselves back into society. Having a home that is sufficient for their needs is incredibly important to satisfy these transitions.

Walker Fuller

Chief Financial Officer, Three Ships

Organization Mission

TABLE delivers healthy food and nutrition education to children in Orange County, North Carolina.

why i serve

Access to healthy, nutritious food has an enormous impact on childhood development. TABLE’s unique approach provides food security and nutrition education to more than 1,000 children in my local community, and it’s important to me that we find ways to support our neighbors and provide an equitable foundation for each child. I also love that my entire family can get involved with TABLE and easily understand the organization’s impact.
